The lubrication of bridge cranes is one of the important contents of daily protection. The quality of lubrication not only directly affects the operation of various organizations and the life of parts, but also affects safe production and production efficiency. Therefore, operators and repairers must always check the lubrication status of each lubrication point of the bridge crane, and timely add and replace the lubricating oil.
Guidelines for lubrication operations: All mechanical parts with shaft and hole dynamic fit and conflicting surfaces should be lubricated regularly. As the operating conditions (utilization rate, operating environment, etc.) of the bridge crane are different, the lubrication of different parts should be properly grasped according to the specific conditions.
The lubrication methods of various organizations of bridge cranes are divided into loose lubrication and centralized lubrication. Medium and small bridge cranes generally use loose lubrication. When lubricating, use an oil gun or an oil cup to fill each lubrication point with oil. The advantages of distributed lubrication are: simple structure, reliable lubrication, convenient protection, convenient acquisition, standardized specifications, and low cost.
The defect is: the lubrication point is loose, the grease needs to be added at a certain time, and there are many exposed points, which are simply covered by dust or blocked by foreign objects.
Centralized lubrication is often used for large-lift bridge cranes and metallurgical bridge cranes. There are two types of centralized lubrication: manual pump refueling and electric pump centralized refueling. Centralized lubrication from one place reduces the amount of repair work. The disadvantage is that the structure is messy and the cost is high.

Lubricants are divided into lubricating oil, grease and solid lubricants. Whetstone is the most widely used liquid lubricant. Lubricants commonly used in bridge cranes are organic oils, gear oils, etc. Grease is a kind of colloidal lubrication material, commonly known as butter and dry oil. It is composed of lubricating oil and high temperature thickening agent. In fact, it is a thickened lubricating oil, and some greases have additives added. Commonly used solid lubricants include molybdenum disulfide, graphite, and tungsten disulfide.
The lubricating oil must be kept clean during use. Please check carefully before use and do not use it when you find impurities or dirt. Pay attention to the replacement of lubricating oil when using. If the lubricating oil is found to be deteriorated or invalid, it should be replaced in time.
Be sure to carefully check the lubrication system and the sealing state of all parts and grease delivery. The lubrication points with higher temperature should add lubrication times and install temperature blocking or cooling devices. Appropriate lubrication materials should be selected according to the situation, and greases of different trademarks should not be mixed. When there is no refueling point in the rotating parts of each organization, oiling tools should be used to refuel the rotating gaps as required to reduce wear and prevent corrosion. Sodium-based grease has strong water absorption and is prone to failure, so it is not suitable for use in humid places. The pressure grease injection method should ensure that the lubricant enters the conflicting surface. If the blockage is caused by oil condensation, it can be dredged by the dilution method. When replacing the grease, you must completely replace the old one with the new one, clean and seal it well.
