Common false faults of bridge crane and their treatment
As the most used hoisting machinery in the workshop, in the daily use of bridge cranes, there may be some phenomena that are not faults but cannot be operated. We call them false faults. These false faults are often due to the operation of the staff. Due to negligence, the editor of mine lifting will introduce to you what are the common false faults of bridge cranes, and the solutions to these false faults.
- When a QD type double-beam bridge crane is in use, the power indicator light is on, and the control linkage platform indicator light is on, but it cannot be started. After an on-site inspection by maintenance technicians, it was found that the safety door from the cab to the platform was not closed. When the safety door is closed, all operations of the double beam bridge crane return to normal. This is a false fault.
- The power supply of a double-beam bridge crane that has been used for many years is normal, the safety door is closed, but it cannot be started. After on-site inspection by technicians, it was found that the hoisting control cam did not return to zero well, that is, although the zero mark of the cam was at the zero position, the zero protection contact was not in contact. The elasticity of the contact is weakened, resulting in false faults that sometimes fail to contact.
- The positions of the power supply, safety door and control handle of a certain crane are all normal, but it cannot be started by pressing the start button. The maintenance personnel went to the site to check and forcibly started the main contactor, which was operating normally. But the contactor cannot be disconnected when the stop button is pressed, but the contactor is disconnected when the start button is pressed. Press the stop button again, the main contactor starts normally, indicating that the start button and the stop button are connected reversely. This is the false failure caused by the maintenance personnel not explaining clearly.
- A bridge crane with a rated lifting capacity of 10 tons has a significantly reduced lifting capacity and can only lift 5 tons of heavy objects. The technicians inspected the electrical part and found that the wire rope was worn out when inspecting the mechanical part. They opened the fixed pulley cover on the trolley frame and saw that the wire rope was not on the pulley but had fallen on the pulley shaft, and found that the pulley rim had a gap. After a new pulley was replaced, and a new wire rope was replaced at the same time, the test run was carried out, and the lifting capacity of the bridge crane returned to normal.
During the use of the bridge crane, no matter what problems occur, there are reasons. This requires our operators and technicians to pay attention to the details in the daily use and maintenance of the crane, so as to avoid affecting the company's business due to their own negligence. normal production.
