In the first two months of this year, 120000 TEUs of goods were transported by the western land-sea new channel train

"This batch of goods starts from Xi'an International Port Station and is transported by railway to Qinzhou Port East Station for 5 days, and then transported by sea to Klang Port, Malaysia. The total transportation time is estimated to be 15 days," said Huang Jiangnan, head of Qinzhou Port East Station of the National Railway Nanning Bureau. The train enjoys the policy dividend of "tax refund at the land port of departure"+the new land and sea channel in the west+RCEP, which is not only fast in time, but also low in cost.

This year, Qinzhou Port East Station, as the hub of rail-sea intermodal transport in the new land-sea corridor in the west, has seen a significant increase in the number of goods arriving and departing, especially since February, when more than 15 trains have been received and departing every day. The data shows that in the first two months of this year, 120000 TEUs of goods were transported by the rail-sea intermodal train of the new land-sea channel in the western region, an increase of 11.2% year on year, of which 9.8% and 13.8% were increased year on year in the south-west direction of the Beibu Gulf and the downward direction of the return journey, respectively. The effect of "going out" of goods in the southwest region through the new channel was obvious.

In view of the fact that the transportation demand is strong and the stage empty containers are tense, Guangxi Coastal Railway Company and Beibu Gulf Port and Platform Company strengthen communication and coordination, timely understand the transportation demand, do a good job in the allocation of container sources, optimize the route of inbound vehicles, arrange the loading and unloading personnel, machines and tools, and transfer vehicles in advance to prepare for the operation, reduce the pickup time of each inbound vehicle by 20 minutes, and effectively improve the transport efficiency of the rail-sea intermodal train of the new western land-sea channel.

At present, the rail-sea intermodal train of the new land-sea channel in the west has reached 17 provinces, 60 cities and 115 stations in China, and the total number of Beibu Gulf port routes has expanded to 75, realizing the full coverage of ASEAN's major ports. The transportation category has increased from more than 10 kinds of ceramics and plates to more than 940 kinds of stone, auto parts, computer parts, new energy vehicles, etc. The goods flow to 393 ports in 119 countries and regions around the world, in order to continue to promote the logistics along the new channel Deeply integrate commerce and industry, promote China's high-level opening-up, and build a new development pattern.
