Vietnam's Quang Ninh Province is ready to welcome the Chinese outbound tourism team

According to the International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the Chinese government has decided to include Vietnam in the list of pilot countries (the second batch) for resuming outbound group tourism from the 15th of this month. In order to do a good job in the reception of international tourist teams, Guangning Provincial People's Committee has formulated and issued a specific plan on improving the quality of tourism services together with the provincial tourism service enterprises.

Fan Yushui, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Guangning Province, said that the province has formulated a reception plan for inbound tourists at land ports in advance, and held a working meeting with relevant departments and bureaus, local authorities and travel agencies on the reception plan for tourist teams, which will facilitate tourists to carry out COVID-19 nucleic acid testing and meet China's requirements for epidemic prevention and control. All tourism service enterprises will provide tourists with the best quality and reasonable travel plans.

In order to improve the experience of tourists and create local tourism characteristics, Guangning Provincial People's Committee will invest 24 new tourism products in Xialong City, Mang Street Market and Yuntun, Gusu and Haihe counties in 2023, including the night tour of Longwan, Xialong, the sea "enjoyment", the two new tourism lines of Yuntun County, and the self-driving outbound tour (expected to be realized in the third quarter) launched by Mang Street Market.

Fan Yushui said that Vietnam's national tourism management department will work closely with relevant Chinese departments and tourism industry associations of both sides to continuously improve the quality of tourism services and enhance the image of Guangning Province in the hearts of international tourists.

In 2023, Guangning Province plans to receive 14 million to 15 million tourists, including 2 million foreign tourists, and the tourism industry plans to achieve an income of 27 trillion dong (about US $1.134 billion). The opening of the land port to meet international tourists, mainly Chinese tourists, will be a welcome signal for Guangning's tourism industry to usher in a turnaround.
