Differences between electric single beam crane and electric double beam crane

1.  The electric single beam crane has only one beam, and the electric hoist is directly hung upside down on the track under the beam; The electric double beam crane has two parallel beams, the electric hoist is installed on the trolley, and the trolley is placed on the track on the beam.
2.  The electric single beam crane is mainly composed of electric hoist, metal structure, trolley running mechanism, feeding device and electrical device. It is a light and small lifting equipment. It runs on I-beam tracks. It can be divided into electric part and manual part. The weight is hung on it. It is relatively simple and has many applications. Double beam crane is generally composed of mechanical, electrical and metal structures. The bridge crane is like a single span slab bridge, with both ends supported on two parallel elevated rails.
3.  Generally, the lifting capacity is less than 50 tons, the span is less than 35 meters, and there are no special use requirements. It is recommended to select single beam bridge crane, such as machinery manufacturing workshop, metallurgical workshop, petroleum, petrochemical, port, railway, power station, papermaking, building materials, electronics and other industries. It is forbidden to use in the environment of flammable, explosive and corrosive media. If the portal outrigger is wide, fast or often lifts heavy and large pieces, double beam portal crane shall be selected, such as indoor and outdoor mining enterprises, iron and steel chemical industry, railway transportation, port and wharf, logistics turnover, etc.
4.  Single beam crane and double beam crane have their own advantages, so using appropriate crane under appropriate working conditions can achieve better results! Compared with double beam crane, single beam crane is cheaper and suitable for some small construction sites!
