Maintenance of cantilever crane

When the cantilever crane is operating, parking, or driving, it should keep a safe distance from obstacles such as trenches, pits, and equipment. During operation, the cantilever crane should be placed on a flat and solid ground to avoid tilting the car body. When the cantilever crane is empty, the four safety screws should be rotated to a height of 1-2cm from the ground. Before lifting, the outriggers should be supported so that the safety screws and casters land at the same time. Personnel should stay away from the equipment to ensure safety. Ensure that the weight of the suspended object cannot exceed the rated load.

1. Carry out small maintenance on the equipment every month, including the smoothness and cleaning of the column beams, gears, and chain connecting bearings, tightening screws, whether the wires and cables are dropped, whether there are abnormal noises in the hoist, etc.

2. Major maintenance (including minor maintenance) shall be carried out every 6 months.

When the rotating arm rolls, the action should be slow, and emergency braking is not allowed. When lifting heavy objects, cantilever cranes are prohibited. If it is a cantilever crane, it is prohibited during the hoisting process. When in use, the safety screw must be completely opened and rotated to the ground, so that the foot completely touches the ground. When using a cantilever crane, please roll the safety screw up to a distance of 3cm from the ground and open it completely to prevent unbalance and rollover caused by the swing of the hoist and the reversing boom.

Whether the rotating motor and gear work is normal. The roller and the raceway cooperate well. The reversing arm of the cantilever crane can flexibly rotate 360° around the column. When the end of the rotating arm beam reaches the upper deflection f ≥ R/250, check whether the beam is sagging, and whether the support at the junction of the beam and the column has an upward displacement. If there is displacement, it means that the beam may fall from the column alone, which is very dangerous, and it needs to be repaired immediately. Whether the lifting trolley of the cantilever crane is tightly engaged with the beam. Check whether the back chain is severely worn (replace if any). Whether the control handle and control wire of the cantilever crane are intact.
