Many customers who ask us for an inquiry do not know how to answer when they are asked about the required driving span . At this time, we will ask the customer about the width of the plant. Some people don't know why, so the editor of our factory will introduce to you the relationship between the span of the steel structure factory building and the span of the driving beam.

Plant span (width) and crane span are not the same concept. The width of the steel structure workshop workshop is an important factor that affects the driving span. Under normal circumstances, the approximate span of the driving beam can be calculated by knowing the span of the steel structure workshop.

There are calculation methods for plant span and crane span on the Internet, as follows:

Lo=Lk+2S, Lo is the span of the plant, Lk is the span of the crane,

S is the distance between the axis of the crane beam and the axis of the plant. The general medium-sized workshop is 0.75m.

Example (the answer is for reference only): For example, if someone provides a 10t crane with a span of 16.5m, the span of your plant is 18m, and the plant axis is flush with the outer edge of the column. They provide you with a 50t crane of 22.5m. The span of the plant is 24m. At this time, it is more appropriate to project the outer edge of the column beyond the axis of the plant by 250mm (because the crane has a large tonnage and the upper column section is too large, I am afraid that the 750mm space is not enough to install the crane beam)

When calculating the driving span, we generally refer to the inner margin of the two ends of the column in the factory building (that is, the inner width of the factory building), and the inner margin minus 50 cm is the approximate span of the single-beam driving. Subtracting 80 cm is the approximate span of the double-beam driving. The calculated span is relatively close to the actual span. When the customer orders, we will produce a more accurate data map to determine the precise span, and then produce.

The span of the driving beam needs to be perfectly matched with the track, so the center distance of the track must be calculated before the production is determined.
