What kind of preparatory work does the crane driver do before work?

Cranes are special equipment. Operators need to be trained before they can work. They need to learn the operating procedures of cranes, be familiar with some basic operation methods of cranes, have a certain knowledge and understanding of various parts of cranes, and be proficient in the operating skills of crane equipment.

Preparations before crane operation:

(1) Check that there are no obstacles in the traveling range of the crane. Obstacles should be removed if any.

(2) Confirm that the interlocking of the anchoring device and the walking drive mechanism is intact.

(3) Check whether the lubrication of each mechanical device of the crane is sufficient.

(4) Confirm whether the electrical switches and operating handles are in the normal position.

(5) Confirm whether the power supply voltage is normal.

(6) Place the front frame safely to a normal horizontal position.

(7) Carry out a no-load test run first, and confirm that the actions of various safety devices and limit switches are normal.

The driver can perform load operation only after the above-mentioned full inspection and treatment.

If the driver takes over the work of the former driver, he needs to do a good job of handover with the former driver, strictly abide by the shift system , do a good job of shifting, and check with the shifter or refer to the shift record to understand the status of the equipment.

1. Earnestly listen to the work dictated by the previous driver and check the shift record.

2. Check whether the crane control system is flexible, reliable and whether the braking performance of the brake is good.

3. Whether the fixed wire rope is firm, and whether the drum wire rope arrangement is correct.

4. Check the no-load operation before use, especially whether the limit switch, emergency switch, travel switch, etc. are safe and reliable. If there is any problem, it must be repaired in time before it can be used.

Before driving, you should carefully check whether the mechanical equipment, electrical parts and protective safety devices are intact and reliable. After confirming that everything is normal, you can turn on the power switch, and perform empty vehicle test runs on each mechanism several times. Carefully check the safety interlock switches and safety interlocks. The sensitivity and reliability of the limit switch action. If the main accessories such as the controller, brake, limiter, electric bell, emergency switch, etc. fail, it is strictly forbidden to lift the weight and record it in the equipment inspection table.
