From 2007 to 2020, among the major destination countries, the most significant growth rate in terms of shipments was achieved by the United States, while exports from other countries experienced more moderate growth rates.

The largest crane markets by value from South Africa are Zimbabwe ($X), Mozambique ($X) and Botswana ($X), accounting for X% of total exports. The United States, Lesotho, Namibia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Ghana, United Arab Emirates, Swaziland, and the Netherlands are somewhat lagging behind and together account for the largest export value growth rate among major destination countries in the United States (+ X%/yr) during the period under review , while other leading players saw more modest growth in shipments.

The average price of crane imports in 2020 was $4,388 per unit, a 23% increase from the previous year.
