Data from China Customs shows that in 2021, Japan imported various types of crane equipment from China worth US$133.96 million, an increase of 33% from US$100.55 million in 2020. According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce of China, from January to December 2021, the total trade volume between China and Japan was US$371.4 billion, a year-on-year increase of 17.1%. Among them, China's exports to Japan were 165.85 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 16.3%; China's imports from Japan were 205.55 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 17.7%. It can be seen that the Japanese economy is more and more closely tied to China.
