The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that despite the economic turmoil caused by rising inflation and surging interest rates, Saudi Arabia is still the fastest growing economy among the G20 countries. The IMF's latest report predicts that Saudi Arabia's economic growth rate will be 7.6% in 2022. "The IMF staff's projections are largely based on their understanding of government policies as stated in the 2022 budget," the report said. It kept its forecast for Saudi economic growth in 2023 at 3.7%, the same as its previous outlook.
