The difference between electric hoist double girder crane and QD double girder bridge crane

Electric hoist double-beam cranes and QD double-beam bridge cranes are both bridge-type double-beam cranes used in the workshop. Some customers don't know much about these two types of bridge cranes and don't know how to distinguish them. The editor of our factory is here to explain the difference between these two types of cranes.

The model of electric hoist bridge crane is LH, and the model of QD double beam bridge crane is QD.

2. The lifting mechanism of the two is different

Electric hoist bridge crane refers to a double-beam bridge crane that uses electric hoist as a lifting mechanism; QD type double-beam crane uses a hoist as a lifting mechanism.

3. The work levels of the two are different

The working level of QD double-beam bridge crane is generally A5 and A6, while the working level of electric hoist bridge crane is A3-A5, which is much lower than that of QD type. That is to say, electric hoist bridge cranes are generally used in occasions where operations are not frequent, and there is no wide range of applications for QD cranes. Moreover, the double-beam hoist crane is generally suitable for lifting heavy objects under 32 tons, while the QD type can reach several hundred tons.

4. The structure of the two is different

Although both are double beam cranes, the double hoist has the advantages of compact structure, light weight, simple operation, and space saving, and the cost is much cheaper than the QD type.

What the two have in common:

Although there are many differences between the electric hoist bridge crane and the QD type double girder bridge crane, there are also many similarities. Compared with the single beam crane, both of them are more stable in operation. The hoisting mechanism all runs on the rails above the two main beams.

Operation mode: There are three operation modes for hoist double and QD bridge crane:

1.  Handle: People follow the car, save personnel, can control the driving, and can also hang objects. Disadvantages: it is more dangerous for people to walk with hanging objects
2.  Remote control: You can lift larger and more dangerous items without following the driving. Disadvantages: restricted view.
3.  Aerial operation: wide operating vision. Disadvantages: special personnel operation, the following personnel are required to cooperate.

When purchasing a double-beam crane, users can choose according to their own conditions. If they are not used very frequently, they can choose a pair of hoists. If the operation is frequent, it is better to choose a QD-type double-beam crane which is safer.
