The cart, the trolley and the electric hoist in the crane are all part of the crane. Some customers don’t know much about these components. They don’t know what the cart in the crane is, what the trolley is, and what does the electric hoist do. The editor of the factory is here to explain it to everyone.
Crane trolley refers to the mechanism that walks left and right on the crane. The trolleys of double girder bridge cranes and double girder gantry cranes run on the upper rails of the two main girders. The trolleys of single girder bridge cranes and single girder gantry cranes refer to electric hoist running trolleys, which are suspended below the main girder. Run left and right on the I-beam.
Electric hoist is a kind of lifting mechanism, responsible for lifting and lowering heavy objects in the vertical direction.
In general terms, the crane trolley generally refers to the lifting mechanism of a double-beam crane, which uses a hoist to lift heavy objects, which is equivalent to the electric hoist of a single-beam crane .
The trolley of a double-beam crane generally has a relatively large lifting tonnage, which can reach several hundred tons or even higher, and can be equipped with two sets of lifting mechanisms, a main hook and a secondary hook . The lifting tonnage of an electric hoist is generally small, up to 32 tons, and only one hook can be used.
The crane's trolley (electric hoist) and the trolley work together to complete the lifting, lowering, forward and backward movement of the heavy objects in the three-dimensional space.
The difference between the electric hoist and the crane trolley is that the electric hoist can be used on a single-beam crane, or on a double-beam crane to form an electric hoist and double-beam bridge crane. It can also be used alone or in conjunction with a monorail I-beam. The range is much wider than that of the crane trolley.
