The difference between electric single beam crane and suspended single beam crane

Electric single-beam cranes and single-beam suspension cranes are commonly used beam cranes in workshops, but many customers are not very clear about the difference between these two crane products. I will briefly introduce their differences and the common ones. Place.

electric single beam crane and suspended single beam crane
Electric single girder cranes are our common ordinary single girder bridge cranes . The main girder of the crane runs back and forth across the two rails at the top of the workshop, and the cart rails are installed on the load-bearing girder.

The suspended single-beam crane uses I-beam as the running track, and the main beam is suspended under the I-beam running track and runs back and forth.

Both cranes have electric hoist as the lifting mechanism, which is suspended under the I-beam under the main beam and runs left and right to complete the lifting operation. The main differences between the two are as follows:

1. Different models

Common models of electric single-beam cranes include LDA, LDP, LDY, LB, LDE and other single-beam cranes. The suspended electric single-beam crane models include LX type, JKBK type, LXB type and so on.

2. The operation mode of the cart is different

The trolley running mechanism of the electric single-beam crane runs across the rails at both ends, and the rails are erected on the load-bearing beams in the workshop; while the trolley running mechanism of the suspended single-beam crane is suspended from the work like an electric hoist. Below the steel running track, the I-steel track is often installed under the roof.

3. Different lifting tonnage

The maximum lifting range of ordinary electric single-beam cranes can reach 32 tons, while the lifting weight of suspended single-beam cranes is relatively small, generally no more than 10 tons, and the application range is smaller than that of beam-type single-beam cranes.

4. The main beam is different

The main beam of the beam type single beam crane generally spans the two ends of the workshop, and there will be no overhanging cantilever, but the suspended crane can extend a part of the outer end of the cart running track, so that the suspended crane can reach a larger working range

5. Different applications

Suspended cranes are generally used in workshops where beam cranes cannot be installed without load-bearing beams. The scope of use is limited. Compared with ordinary single beam cranes, there are not so many customers.
