Common failures and preventive measures of the operating mechanism of bridge cranes
Bridge crane is a beam crane commonly used in workshops in enterprise production. Commonly used are LDA type single girder bridge crane , QD type double girder bridge crane and other models. During the use of the crane, some faults may occur that affect the normal operation of the bridge crane. The editor of our factory will analyze the common failures of the operating mechanism of overhead cranes and large vehicles, and the reasons for the failures.
Common faults of bridge crane trolley are:
- The operating mechanism of the trolley often fails with poor braking, and sometimes it cannot be stopped at a certain position;
- The fixing bolts of the reducer base are loose;
- The internal components of the reducer are damaged due to poor lubrication.
Common faults of bridge crane carts are:
- The crane produces severe jitter and vibration noise during the braking process;
- The fixing bolts of the reducer are loose and internal components are damaged;
- The buffer system of the operating limit device is damaged.
Technicians analyze the reasons for these failures as follows:
- The bridge crane has operating inertia force when starting or braking;
- The crane driver has illegal operation or misoperation . When the crane is running in one direction, the sudden reverse operation causes the motor to reverse and the impact torque is too large;
- The crane is not well inspected and maintained, and the reducer has insufficient lubrication or poor lubrication caused by other reasons;
- The adjustment of the left and right braking mechanisms of the cart operating mechanism is unbalanced. During the braking process, the left and right braking torques are not equal to produce side torsion and cause vibration.
After finding the cause of the problem, we can solve the problem and effectively prevent the problem from recurring according to the reason. The measures to prevent these failures are:
- Frequently check the parallelism, levelness and cleanliness of the running track of the bridge crane trolley, and pay attention to repairing the local damage and deformation of the track.
- Maintain the levelness and cleanliness of the running track of the cart to ensure the flatness error of the left and right tracks.
- Frequently check the lubrication status of each reducer, try to choose grease lubrication method, and select a reducer with good torsion resistance and a large base diameter.
- The fixing bolts of each reducer should be checked and tightened frequently.
- Frequently check and adjust the brakes, especially the tightness of the two brake springs on the left and right sides of the cart and the gap between the brake shoe and the brake wheel should be adjusted to be equal.
The safe operation of bridge cranes comes from daily maintenance and standardized operations. Enterprises using bridge cranes must improve relevant systems to regulate the use of cranes.
