At present, DOE is urgently researching and formulating policies, such as simplifying project permits, upgrading infrastructure (including port support for offshore wind power), etc. According to regulations, DOE should complete the formulation of an efficient development policy for offshore wind power resources within 60 days after the issuance of the administrative order.
