Do single girder cranes below 3 tons still need to be inspected?

In the past, all tonnage single-girder cranes belonged to special equipment and needed to be inspected by relevant units. However, cranes under 3 tons have been crossed out in the latest special equipment catalog. In other words, cranes under 3 tons are no longer special equipment. Cranes above 3 tons (including 3 tons) still have to apply for inspection.

The definition of lifting machinery in the special equipment catalog:

Crane lifting means for vertical or horizontal movement and vertical lifting heavy electrical equipment, which is defined in a range nominal weight greater than or equal to the lift 0.5t; from nominal weight equal to or greater than 3T (or lifting torque rating Tower cranes greater than or equal to 40t·m, or loading and unloading bridges with a productivity greater than or equal to 300t/h) and cranes with a lifting height greater than or equal to 2m; mechanical parking equipment with a number of floors greater than or equal to 2 floors.

In the above definition, we can see that bridge cranes and gantry cranes with a rated lifting capacity greater than or equal to 3t are special equipment.

Therefore, under current circumstances, single-girder cranes and gantry cranes of less than 3 tons (not including 3 tons) do not require inspection. For cranes of more than 3 tons, if the user does not know how to apply for inspection, we can assist the user to apply for inspection, which will be more worry-free.
