Fault analysis in crane operation

1. Turn off the switch and fuse the operating circuit. It can be a single-phase grounding connected to the protection mechanism in the crane operation circuit. Check insulation and eliminate grounding.

2. The line contactor K0 (LX electric single beam suspension crane) of the crane cannot be connected. There are several reasons for this failure:

  1.  The knife switch is not closed, so it is necessary to close the knife switch.
  2.  The emergency switch is not closed and needs to be closed.
  3.  The manhole is not closed and needs to be closed.
  4.  The controller does not return to the zero position and needs to be put back to the zero position.
  5.  If there is no voltage line, find out the cause and eliminate it.
  6.  Fuse the fuse of the operating circuit, find out the cause of the fuse, eliminate the fault and replace the fuse.
  7.  If the contactor coil is damaged, replace the coil or contactor.

3. After the line contactor is closed, introduce the fuse on the line, check whether the phase is grounded, find out the grounding point with an insulation resistance meter and eliminate it.

4. When the line contactor is closed, the overcurrent relay acts and the contactor releases automatically. Check whether the circuit of the controller is grounded, disconnect the wire on the protection panel from the controller, and then connect it step by step. The contactor shall be connected once every time the conductor is connected. Determine the grounding controller according to the action of overcurrent relay, and then calculate the grounding point through insulation resistance meter.

5. When the controller is closed, the overcurrent relay acts. The causes of this fault are as follows:

  1.  The stator line is grounded, and the insulation damage is found through the insulation resistance meter.
  2.  Clamp the ring of the mechanical part, check the mechanical part and eliminate the fault.
  3.  The setting value of the overcurrent relay is inconsistent, and the adjusted current value is 225% ~ 250% of the rated current of the motor.
