What are the structure of the electric single beam crane

Electric single-beam cranes are lifting equipment that walks above the workshop, commonly known as single-beam cranes. The commonly used lifting tonnage is 1-20 tons, the maximum can be 32 tons, and the maximum span is 28.5 meters. Electric single-beam cranes are mainly composed of three operating mechanisms: hoisting operating mechanism, cart operating mechanism , and trolley operating mechanism. The hoisting mechanism is mainly composed of electric hoist, steel wire rope, pulley, hook or spreader. The operating mechanism of the cart is composed of a motor, a reducer, and wheels. The trolley running mechanism is composed of a running trolley, a reducer and so on.

The metal structure of the electric single-beam bridge crane is mainly composed of two parts: the main beam and the end beam. The main beam structure is mostly a combined cross section of I-beam and steel plate. It is composed of cover, web and I-beam. Stiffener plate. Its safety and reliability directly affect the operating quality and working ability of the crane.

Metal structure production characteristics:

1.  The materials used in the main metal structures (main beams, end beams) have material reports and corresponding certificates of conformity.
2.  The manufacturing, welding and inspection of metal structures are carried out in accordance with national standards. Important force-bearing butt welds adopt double-sided groove welding process, and conduct visual inspection and non-destructive inspection according to regulations. All welders hold corresponding grade certificates.
3.  The main beam of all cranes adopts the whole plate without butt joint process, and the butt welding seam of the main beam steel plate is eliminated, which eliminates the hidden danger of the steel plate butt welding volume. 4.  All plates are automatically cut by a CNC cutting machine, and the arch of the main beam is preset to avoid the problem of downward deflection of the traditional fire-baked main beam.

7.  The crossbeam of the cart is made of rectangular tube as a whole, without splicing, no welding seam, beautiful appearance, sturdy and durable.
8.  All wheels are installed by boring type to avoid wheel treads not on the same horizontal plane and improve wheel running accuracy.

Performance characteristics of mechanical system:

1.  The lifting mechanism of a single beam crane is composed of a single-speed hoist (two-speed electric hoist). The product has the advantages of compact structure, light weight, small size, and convenient operation.
   • a. Reducer: The electric hoist reducer of the single beam crane adopts a helical gear three-stage reduction. The gears and gear shafts are forged and processed by 40Cr or 20CrMnTi steel. After heat treatment, they are all supported by rolling bearings. The box shell is made of cast iron and assembled. Tight, dustproof and reliable.
   • b. Reel device: The reel is made of cast iron or seamless steel pipe, and is connected with the reducer by splines, and the other end is supported by a rolling bearing at the front end of the cone motor. The drum shell is made of steel plate.
   • c. Hook device: The hook is made of 20 steel die forging, and the thrust ball bearing is connected with the shell through the hook beam, so that the hook can run freely.
   • d. Coupling: The torque of the motor is transmitted to the reducer through the claw-type elastic coupling, which can absorb the impact of the load and obtain a smooth start.
   • e. Slow-speed drive device: The slow-speed drive device consists of a drive box, a box cover, and a small motor. The small motor drives the main motor to work through the slow device.
   • f. Limiter: In order to prevent malfunctions caused by the lifting and lowering of the hook beyond the limit position, a limiter is installed on the hoist. When the hook reaches the limit position, the limiter is driven by the rope guide on the drum device of the single beam crane Action to automatically cut off the power supply to stop the hoist.
   • g. Motor: The lifting motor adopts a cone-shaped brake motor with a larger starting torque to adapt to frequent direct starting during intermittent operation of the product. The maximum torque is 2.4 to 3 times the rated torque.
   • h. To ensure safe and reliable use, all electric hoists are equipped with lifting weight limiters.
   • i. Electric control system: It is mainly composed of the control box and operation button box of the single-beam crane, with protection or warning functions such as loss of pressure, interlocking, overload, and overload alarm.
2.  Trolley operating mechanism The operating mechanism of the electric hoist of a single beam crane is an electric trolley type. The trolley operating mechanism is equipped with a frequency converter, stepless speed regulation, stable operation, accurate positioning and comfortable operation.
3.  Cart operating mechanism The Cart operating structure of the single-beam crane is composed of a motor, a reducer, and a wheel set. The trolley operating mechanism of the single-beam crane runs smoothly, with accurate positioning and comfortable operation.
