YZS type four-beam metallurgical casting bridge cranes below 125t are generally YZ type double-beam structures, and above 125t are generally YZ type four-beam structures. YZS type adopts main and auxiliary double trolleys, four-beam four-track structure, mainly composed of bridge frame, main trolley, auxiliary trolley, hook beam, trolley running and electrical parts.

Working Principle of Four-beam Casting Overhead Crane

The main trolley of the YZS type four-beam metallurgical casting bridge crane runs on the main beam track outside the bridge frame, and the auxiliary trolley runs on the auxiliary beam track inside the bridge frame. The main trolley’s picking device is a hook beam with a fixed spacing, which is used to lift the molten steel ladle. The auxiliary trolley runs under the main trolley. The picking device is a hook, which is used to cooperate with the main hook to dump molten steel, steel slag and other auxiliary lifting operations.

Casting cranes work in harsh environments with high temperature, high dust and harmful gases, and have heat radiation; therefore, they have the characteristics of heat insulation, dust prevention and corrosion resistance. Because the full load rate and full load times of casting cranes are very high, the uninterrupted working time is very long, and the load state is Q3 or Q4, the working level of casting cranes is between A7-A8.
